Boom Arts Presents: Tomorrow Will Be . . .

This is a past event. Saturday, May 11 at 7:00pm

The Old Church Concert Hall 1422 S.W. 11th Ave., Portland, OR 97201

“Eclectic and inventive … in union there is strength.” — The New York Times

Join Boom Arts and Brooklyn-based theatre and performance ensemble The TEAM for two unique interactive evenings of song-sharing and community celebration at the Old Church, inspired by The TEAM’s choral concert project Primer for a Failed Superpower. TEAM artists Zhailon Levingston, Orion Johnstone and Nehemiah Luckett, joined by Portland-based musician and choir director Ben Landsverk (OK Chorale, Wonderly), will join Boom Arts, local artists and activists of three generations—with different guests each night, so come for both!—and you the audience to celebrate the power of song in the imagining of a new tomorrow. Tap into The TEAM’s unique process with song sharing, devised group conversation and communal celebration to honor and join with those among us who are living out the hope for tomorrow . . . today.

Age Recommendation: 8+. ASL Interpretation on May 11.
