Brett Stern is an industrial designer, author of 99 Ways to Make a Pipe: Problem Solving for Pot Smokers and invents surgical instruments and implantable medical devices.

This interactive discussion will combine the principles of product design with materials and process, found objects and whatever tools that are right in front of you. Learn the hands-on process of applying problem-solving skills to construct a pipe that may not look pretty, but will function.

Attendees will get a complimentary copy of Stern's book, along with other goodies.
