Buddy Fest NW is a celebration of acceptance and awareness of people with Down syndrome. Whether you have Down syndrome, know someone who does, or just want to show your support, come and join up!
People with Down syndrome are encouraged to invite “buddies" - friends, family, teachers, legislators, celebrities, coworkers and professionals- to join them at Buddy Fest NW. Every participant helps promote the importance of understanding and belonging.
Entertainment from emcee Tony Starlight, an '80s dance party with the Nu Wavers and reggae from Newel Briggs and friends.
Special guest speaker Brandon Gruber is an artist, model, college student, advocate and founder of the 321 LIFE+1 Project. Learn more about Brandon at 321life.com.
Buddy Fest NW is hosted by the Northwest Down Syndrome Association. The NWDSA's mission is to create and nurture a loving and inclusive community celebrating every person with a disability, including Down syndrome.
Registration includes t-shirt, lunch, entertainment, fun, good vibes and support for NWDSA programs.
