"Everybody dies, but nobody knows for certain when it will be their time. For the brilliant Branden Jacobs-Jenkins’s update of the 15th-century morality play Everyman, an ensemble of nine  actors — including such Artists Rep stalwarts as Michael Mendelson, Sarah Lucht and John San Nicolas — take on a multitude of roles, with one chosen by onstage lottery each performance to face Death. " - Oregon Arts Watch

Death tells Everybody that their time is up. But Everybody doesn’t want to greet Death alone, so Everybody seeks the company of their friends Stuff, Kinship, Friendship, Cousinship and Love to make the trip bearable. From the scintillating mind that brought you An OctoroonEverybody is an audacious riff on the 15th century morality play Everyman. Nine brave actors will play a multitude of roles with their characters chosen by lottery onstage every night — with a possible 120 combinations — as they fight to cheat Death.
