The Portland Chamber Orchestra presents its spring concert, Sunday, March 31, 3:00 PM at Lewis & Clark College, Agnes Flanagan Chapel. With selections of classical, klezmer and bluegrass music as well as graphic arts, the concert also features Grammy-nominated and award-winning mandolinist Sierra Hull and noted clarinet soloist Shannon Scott, Assistant Professor of Clarinet and Music History at Washington State University School of Music.

This concert will present four musical selections: Le tombeau de Couperin, by Maurice Ravel; The Monster by Duncan Neilson, inspired by Mary Shelley’s 1818 novel Frankenstein; joined by the Choral Arts Ensemble with Concertino for Clarinet & Mandolin by Ofer Ben-Amots; and Intermezzo: Klezmer Meets Bluegrass, also by Ofer Ben-Amots.
