Pear Street Poem

Friday, July 19 more dates through July 22, 2019

p:ear 338 N.W. Sixth Ave., Portland, OR 97209

"For two months, p:ear gallery will transform into a “giant canvas.” Individuals who are now or were at any point a member of the homeless community of Portland are invited to fill the space with stories, poems and “inspirations.” This interactive art installation was inspired by the Manchester Street Poem, an ongoing project that gathers first-hand stories of homelessness from the community in Manchester, England. The project includes support from other agencies including Street Roots and Friends of Noise." - Oregon Arts Watch
