Portland Gay Men's Chorus presents: Stonewall Riot! Soundtrack to a Revolution

This is a past event. Saturday, June 22 at 7:00pm

Keller Auditorium 222 S.W. Clay St., Portland, OR 97201

The summer of ’69 was a groundbreaking moment in LGBTQ history with one hell of a soundtrack to go with it. Artists like Marvin Gaye, the Beatles, Elvis Presley, the Rolling Stones, and other musical goliaths topped the charts as activists marched in the streets. The Portland Gay Men's Chorus will honor the 50th anniversary of Stonewall with Stonewall Riot! Soundtrack to a Revolution. More than a concert, this will be an event set to the greatest pop hits of 1969. What better way to revel in the spirit of Pride than to pay homage to the heroes across the LGBTQ+ community, whose defiance in a bar in New York City in June 1969 paved the way for future generations?
