First Congregational Church
1126 S.W. Park Ave., Portland, OR 97205
This progressive Christian community located in the heart of downtown Portland is housed in one of the most unique buildings in the city. Completed in 1895, the church is one of the only examples of Venetian Gothic architecture in the United States; for its first 60 years or more, the 175-foot bell tower was Portland's highest building. The church also hosts arts events throughout the year.
